Welp, the great Brooke Fraser has done it again. On this very day after Christopher Columbus Day she has officially released her new CD! It is amazing and I recommend it 100%.
Tonight as I was walking home from the library a new song of hers came on, a cover of James Taylor's "You Can Close Your Eyes" feat. William Fitzsimmons. I hadn't heard it since I was a kindergartner or some craziness like that, so it immediately brought me to tears. I remember my Mama singing it to me before bed when I was just a little kid with an afro. Music's power calls forth such huge aspects of life and being and can elicit emotions in such a way that is impossible with mere words. Here is James Taylor's version of the song.
